Q&A

Q: Is this hike suitable for beginners? What's the difficulty level?

A: Yes, this hike is suitable for beginners, but be prepared for some moderate elevation gain. The trails are well-marked, and Sharon, the guide, is great at helping everyone along the way. Just make sure to wear good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water!

Q: What should I wear for the hike? Is there a chance of rain?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly in the mountains, but you'll warm up once you start hiking. A lightweight rain jacket is also a good idea since weather can change quickly in Rocky Mountain National Park. Don't forget sturdy footwear too!

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up after I purchase?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just reach out to Sharon ahead of time, and she’s usually pretty accommodating. Just make sure to check her availability.

Just finished the Women's Hike to Ouzel Falls!

I just got back from the hike to Ouzel Falls and WOW, it was amazing! The waterfall is stunning, and we saw tons of wildflowers along the way. Sharon was super encouraging, and the hot chocolate at the falls was a perfect treat. It's a nice, moderate hike, but I thought the elevation was manageable. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day in nature with a group of great women!

Thinking about gifting the Women's Hike to Ouzel Falls

I'm considering this hike as a gift for my sister's birthday. She's never done a backcountry hike, but loves nature. I'm a bit worried about how she'd handle the trail. Can anyone share their thoughts or experiences? Is it mostly flat, or are there steep parts?
