Q&A
A: There's no official age limit, but I'd say kids 12 and older would get the most out of it. The stories are pretty deep and might not resonate with younger kids. That said, you can definitely bring younger kids along if you think they'll enjoy the walk and the stories. Just keep an eye on their attention spans!
A: The tour can vary, but it typically lasts about 2 hours. Most of it is walking, so wear comfy shoes! The guide takes you through the historic areas where these women made their mark. The pace is relaxed, though.
A: The stories cover a range of topics about women during the Civil War, including some heavy themes. However, they're presented in a respectful way. I think it's great for anyone interested in history, but parents should know the content may be intense for younger teens. Overall, it’s very engaging!

Thinking about the Wonder Women tour as a gift—who's done it?
I'm considering gifting the Wonder Women of Gettysburg tour to my sister, who's a big history buff. I love that it highlights women's contributions during the Civil War, like Tillie Pierce and Jennie Wade. I read it lasts about 2 hours and includes some cool ghost stories! Anyone have thoughts or tips?
Anyone else feel inspired by the Wonder Women tour?
I just finished the Wonder Women of Gettysburg tour, and wow, it was so moving! Learning about women like Elizabeth Thorn made me appreciate how much these unsung heroes did during the war. I really enjoyed the ghost stories too! Highly recommend it if you're in Gettysburg.
