Have you ever found a treasure on the beach and wanted to create something beautiful with your beach finds like sea glass and sea shells? This workshop is designed for you to bring some of your broken jewelry and mix it with found objects to create a bridal hair piece or mermaid headband. Create something beautiful with ocean treasures at the Maui Mona Lisa Studio. Everything is here seashells and wire and sea glass and other antique treasure of beads that are UP-CYCLED JEWLS to pick from or bring your own special pieces to incorporate. Design a hair clip Design a headband Design a bridal hair piece Design your brides maids hair pieces Maui Mona Lisa starts you off with a blank headband that is her custom pieces, she shows you how to attach your pieces and also you will learn about Hawaiian seashells and stories of the Island that are sacred to the culture. Everything is 100% sustainable keeping the oceans clean all while being fabulous. A mermaid job is done here.

Q: Is there an age limit for this workshop, or can kids join too?

A: Kids are totally welcome at the workshop as long as they have a parent or guardian with them! It's such a fun experience for all ages, and Sherry is great with kids. Just keep in mind that some materials can be small and might require supervision.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, Sherry is flexible with rescheduling as long as you give her a heads-up! Just make sure to reach out to her a few days in advance if you can. She's really accommodating and wants everyone to have a good time.

Q: What should I wear for this workshop? Is it outdoors?

A: The workshop is mostly indoors at Maui Mona Lisa Studio, but you might want to wear comfy clothes that you don’t mind getting a little glue or sand on. Flip-flops are fine since you're in Maui, but I'd avoid anything too dressy!

I’m considering this workshop for my sister who’s getting married soon! She loves all things beachy and creative. I heard the Maui Mona Lisa studio has a variety of shells and sea glass you can use. Plus, I think the local snacks included will be a nice touch. Does anyone have experience with this? How was the atmosphere?

So I just got back from the workshop and wow, it was so much fun! I made a beautiful headband using shells I found on my last beach trip. Sherry was so knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture too! Definitely recommend it if you’re into crafts or looking for a unique gift experience. Plus, the snacks were delish!
