Q&A

Q: What kind of winter gear do you recommend for this Yellowstone winter tour?

A: Definitely dress in layers! You'll want a good moisture-wicking base layer, an insulating layer (like a fleece), and a waterproof outer layer. Don’t forget warm gloves, a hat, and good snow boots. It's really chilly, especially during the snow coach rides, but the hot springs will be a nice reprieve!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? What age do you think is best?

A: The tour is generally suitable for kids aged 8 and up, as long as they're okay with cold weather and some physical activity. There are lots of cool wildlife sightings and fun experiences, like the sleigh rides, that kids usually enjoy! Just keep in mind the walking parts and snowshoeing might be a bit challenging for younger ones.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule the trip?

A: If the weather is really bad, they usually offer rescheduling options or might have to cancel for safety reasons. Just make sure to check the cancellation policy when booking. They’re pretty flexible about it, especially given the winter conditions in the parks!

Thinking of gifting the Yellowstone & Grand Teton Winter Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m looking to surprise my partner with this 4-day winter tour in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We love hiking and wildlife, and the idea of soaking in hot springs after a day in the snow sounds amazing! But I’m a bit worried about the cold and whether it’s too demanding for us. Any tips?

Just got back from the Yellowstone & Grand Teton Winter Tour!

OMG, I just got back from this tour and it was incredible! We saw SO many bison and the snow coach rides were like a movie. And those hot springs? Perfect for relaxing after a day of snowshoeing. The hotel was nice and cozy too. Highly recommend!
