Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I want to take my kids!

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be able to handle winter conditions and walks of about a mile when snowshoeing. I took my 10-year-old and he loved it! Just make sure they’re dressed warmly; it gets super cold, especially in places like Yellowstone.

Q: What should I wear for the snowshoeing part? Is it very strenuous?

A: You'll want to dress in layers: a moisture-wicking base layer, an insulating layer, and a waterproof outer layer. Snowshoeing is pretty accessible; it’s not too strenuous, but you should be in decent shape to handle some elevation changes. Bring good waterproof boots and get ready for some stunning views!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather is severe, the tour provider does allow for rescheduling. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know. They’re pretty flexible, especially during the winter when conditions can change quickly. You won’t lose your money, so that’s a relief!

Thinking of booking the 9-day winter tour, anyone done it?

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Yellowstone, Grand Teton & Utah Mighty 5 Winter Tour to my parents. They love national parks and have never been during winter! The whole idea of snowshoeing and visiting places like Antelope Canyon covered in snow sounds amazing. Just curious if anyone's actually done it and what they thought!

Curious about the hot springs included in the tour

Has anyone experienced the hot springs on this winter tour? I’ve heard they’re amazing! I'm a little nervous about the cold weather though. How warm are the pools? Is it worth it?
