Q&A
A: If weather conditions aren't safe for the tour, Yellowstone Safari Co. will reach out to you to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible, and typically offer a few options to choose from for new dates. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you can if you have a specific date in mind.
A: This tour is great for kids! They usually recommend ages 8 and up since the day can be long and there’s a bit of walking. But if you think your younger kids can handle it, go for it! Just keep in mind to bring snacks and some activities for the downtime.
A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather can change super quickly in the park. I’d suggest a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm fleece, and a waterproof jacket. Also, good hiking shoes are a must since you’ll be walking on some trails and boardwalks.

Excited for my Yellowstone full day tour from Cody!
I just booked the full day tour with Yellowstone Safari Co. for next month! I can’t wait to see Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Spring. I’ve heard the guides are amazing and really knowledgeable. It’s also nice they provide lunch and snacks, so that’s one less thing to worry about! Just wondering if anyone can recommend what to bring with me on the tour?
Just got back from the Yellowstone tour - what an experience!
OMG, the full day tour was incredible! We saw bison, elk, and of course Old Faithful. The guide was super friendly and shared loads of interesting facts. The lunch was pretty good too! I went with friends, but I think this would make an awesome gift for family. Anyone else have similar experiences?
