Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Yellowstone Winter Safari? Is it super cold?

A: You'll definitely want to dress in layers for the Winter Safari! It can get pretty chilly, especially with wind chill. I'd recommend thermal base layers, a warm jacket, waterproof pants, and insulated boots. Also, don't forget a hat and gloves! Trust me, staying warm will make your experience much better.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? My son is 7 and loves animals!

A: There's no strict age limit, but younger kids should be able to handle being outside in cold weather for a few hours. The guides are great with families, so if your son loves animals, he’ll have a blast! Just keep in mind to dress him warmly and prepare for a bit of waiting while wildlife is spotted.

Q: What happens if the weather is too bad to go? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather conditions are unsafe, the tour can be rescheduled or canceled. The provider usually contacts you to give options for rescheduling if they have to cancel. It's always good to check the weather before your trip, but don't worry too much—winter views can still be stunning!

Just got back from the Yellowstone Winter Safari, and wow!

I just finished the private Winter Safari and wolf watching tour in Yellowstone, and it was epic! We saw a pack of wolves in Lamar Valley and so many bison. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the experience so much more fun. The hot springs were a great touch too! Just make sure you bundle up really well—it's cold out there! I think this would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves nature.

Thinking about gifting the Yellowstone Winter Safari experience!

I’m considering giving the Winter Safari and Wolf Watching tour as a gift for my partner's birthday. He loves wildlife! Has anyone done it? How was the experience? I’m a bit worried about the price since it says $0.00. What's the actual cost?
