Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this safari experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Yellowstone Privately Guided Safari. However, it’s best for kids aged 6 and up since they’ll enjoy the wildlife viewing and be able to follow along. Just make sure they can sit quietly in the vehicle for a few hours!

Q: What should I wear for the safari, especially since it's in the evening?

A: I'd recommend wearing layers. Evenings can get chilly in Yellowstone, so a light jacket or fleece is a good idea. Comfortable shoes are a must since you might do some light walking at stops. And don't forget a hat if you're sensitive to the sun!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: If the weather is too severe for your scheduled safari, Hayden Valley Nature Tours usually allows for rescheduling without extra fees. Just give them a call or email as soon as you know you won't be able to make it, and they'll help set up a new date.

Just got back from the Yellowstone Safari – what an experience!

We booked the sunset wildlife safari through Hayden Valley Nature Tours and it was epic! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to all the best spots. We saw a pack of wolves! Plus, the snacks were great. The sunset over the geysers was honestly magical. If you're thinking about this as a gift, go for it! Just remember to dress warm because it got a bit chilly towards the end.

Considering gifting the Yellowstone Safari to my parents – any tips?

My folks love wildlife and are heading to Yellowstone in July. I think the sunset safari would be perfect for them! Any tips on booking or what to expect? I'm hoping it’ll be a memorable experience for them.
