Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Yellowstone Photography Adventure? Is it cold in the morning?

A: Definitely layer up! Mornings can be chilly, especially in Gardiner. I wore a thermal base layer, a warm fleece, and a waterproof jacket. Don't forget good hiking boots; you'll be walking a bit. Also, bring a hat and sunglasses for later in the day when the sun is out. You'll be glad you did!

Q: Can kids join this photography adventure? What age is best?

A: Yes, kids can join! It's a great experience for ages 10 and up, especially if they're interested in photography or wildlife. Just keep in mind that it can be a long day, so they might need a bit of patience. The guides are great with kids and make it fun for them!

Q: Is there a lot of walking involved? My friend has knee issues.

A: There’s some walking, but it's mostly at a relaxed pace and the guide can adjust based on the group’s needs. If your friend has trouble walking, they can just take it easy and enjoy the view from the vehicle when needed. Just make sure they bring any necessary support like a knee brace or walking stick.

Just booked the Yellowstone Photography Adventure!

I’m so excited! I just booked the Yellowstone Through the Lens Photography Adventure for next month. It’s a full day, and I’ve heard the guides are super knowledgeable. I'm hoping to get some amazing shots of bears and wolves in the Lamar Valley. Does anyone have tips for making the most of this experience?

Just did the Yellowstone Photography Adventure—wow!

I just got back from the Yellowstone photography trip, and it was incredible! We saw so much wildlife. Our guide was awesome—he really knew his stuff. The sandwiches from Tumbleweed Cafe were delicious too! If you love photography, this is a must-do. The light during sunrise was magical!
