Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Yellowstone wildlife tour? I'm thinking of gifting it to my kids.

A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but it's best suited for kids 6 and up. The guides do keep things engaging for younger kids, but keep in mind that there will be some walking involved, especially at the Travertine Terraces. If your kids can handle a full day outdoors, they'll love it!

Q: What should we wear for the Yellowstone tour? Is it mostly walking or driving?

A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, and it warms up during the day. I recommend comfortable shoes since you'll do quite a bit of walking around the Travertine Terraces and other stops. A hat and sunglasses are also great for the afternoon sun!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather is too severe, rescheduling is typically allowed. Just contact the tour provider directly as soon as possible. They’re pretty flexible and want you to have a great experience. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your tour date approaches!

Just booked the Yellowstone Wildlife and Photo Tour - so excited!

I finally decided to book the Yellowstone Wildlife and Photo Tour for my husband’s birthday. We’ll be starting in West Yellowstone, and I can't wait to see the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and all the wildlife in Lamar Valley! I've heard the guides are super knowledgeable. Also, the picnic lunch included sounds perfect. Has anyone done this yet? Any tips?

Thoughts on the Yellowstone Wildlife Tour?

I'm considering gifting this Yellowstone tour experience to my parents. They love nature but have never been to Yellowstone. Do you think this tour would be suitable for them? They are both in decent shape but not super active. Any insights on the walking parts and if they should be okay?
