Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the safari, but I’d recommend it for kids ages 8 and up since the day can be a bit long and involves a lot of sitting and listening. The guides are really good at keeping it engaging for the kids, though. Just be sure they can handle a full day outdoors!
A: Layering is key! Mornings can be chilly, so wear a light jacket and comfortable clothes. Sturdy shoes are a must since you might be walking in uneven terrain. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, since you’ll be outside all day!
A: If the weather is really bad, they’ll usually work with you to reschedule. They want to make sure everyone has a great experience, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Light rain is typically okay, but they’ll let you know if it’s unsafe to go out.

Considering the Yellowstone Wildlife Safari as a gift for my partner!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about gifting the Yellowstone Wildlife Safari from West Yellowstone to my partner for their birthday. They love nature and photography, so I think this could be perfect. I’ve heard the guides are super knowledgeable and the food is included, which is nice! Has anyone done this tour? What was your favorite part?
Tips for the Yellowstone Wildlife Safari
Just got back from the Yellowstone Wildlife Safari in Lamar Valley, and wow! The experience was unforgettable. We saw so much wildlife, including elk, bison, and even a black bear! Pack extra snacks and definitely bring a camera. The views were stunning. Anyone else been? Any tips for a return visit?
