Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari? It's going to be cold, right?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get super chilly out there, especially with wind chill. Waterproof boots are a must since you'll be getting out of the vehicle. Don’t forget a warm hat and gloves too—those binoculars can get heavy after a while, and you’ll want your hands to be warm while you’re using them.

Q: Is this safari good for kids? What's the age limit?

A: Yes, this safari is great for kids! There’s no strict age limit, but keep in mind that younger kids might get restless during the full-day adventure. The guides really engage with kids, so it can be educational and fun for them. Just make sure they can handle being in a vehicle for long stretches and the cold when you're outside.

Q: What if the weather is really bad? Do they reschedule?

A: If the weather is severe, they generally will reschedule your safari. Safety is their top priority. They'll check the forecast and reach out to you ahead of time to discuss options. It's good to have flexibility in your schedule just in case.

Thinking about gifting the Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari!

I'm considering this for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and wildlife. Has anyone done this? How are the guides? What do they usually see? I know it's in the winter, so I hope they see some animals! Any tips?

Just got back from the Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari!

OMG, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The picnic lunch was so fresh and delicious! Our guide, Matt, was awesome at spotting wildlife. We even got to see a whole herd of elk! Highly recommend for anyone who loves the outdoors!
