Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Yonah Mountain hike? Is it a tough trail?

A: The Yonah Mountain hike is moderate in difficulty, so I’d suggest wearing comfortable hiking shoes with good grip. Layers are a must since it can get chilly up there, especially in the morning. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen too! And if you’re going in the spring or fall, check the weather to avoid rain since it can make the trail slick.

Q: How many people can join this private tour? Is it good for kids?

A: The tour can accommodate up to 6 people in one vehicle for a more personal experience, but if you have a larger group, they’ll use multiple vehicles. It’s definitely kid-friendly as long as they’re comfortable with a moderate hike; just check with the tour guide about age limits. The views are amazing, and kids usually love it!

Q: Is there a cancellation policy if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, they have a flexible cancellation policy, especially for weather-related issues. If it’s too dangerous to hike, they will work with you to reschedule or give a full refund. Just make sure to check the forecast a couple of days before your tour.

Had an amazing time on the Yonah Mountain hike!

I just got back from the Yonah Mountain hike, and wow, it was stunning! The views were insane, and our guide was super knowledgeable. We went in early September, and the weather was perfect for hiking. Plus, the stop in Helen was such a nice bonus. We ate some great bratwurst and did a little shopping afterward. Totally worth it for the price and experience! Highly recommend it as a gift, too!

Considering the Yonah Mountain hike for a birthday gift!

I’m thinking about getting my brother the Yonah Mountain hike experience for his birthday. He loves hiking and outdoor stuff, but I’m a bit worried about the hike difficulty. Is it really manageable for someone who's not super experienced?
