Q&A
A: The rest stops are usually about 20-30 minutes long, so you should have enough time to grab a snack or use the restroom. Just make sure to keep an eye on the time since the bus won't wait too long. There are usually some food options at the stops, but I'd recommend bringing some snacks just in case!
A: There’s no strict age limit for the trip. Kids usually love the bus ride and the sights in Yosemite! Just keep in mind that there’s quite a bit of walking if you decide to explore. Bring some water and snacks, and they’ll probably have a great time!
A: Layers are your best bet! It can get chilly in the valley, especially in the mornings and evenings. A light jacket is usually a good idea. I'd also recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you might do a bit of walking around while you're exploring Yosemite.

Thinking of buying the Yosemite trip as a gift! Any thoughts?
I’m considering getting this one-way trip to Yosemite for my partner’s birthday. We both love nature, and it sounds awesome to be driven in a comfy coach! The price is unbeatable. Just wondering if anyone has done this and can share their experience? Like, how’s the commentary? Is it informative or more casual? Also, how’s the timing with the rest stops?
Just got back from the Yosemite trip! Here’s my experience.
We just did the one-way bus trip from SF to Yosemite this past weekend, and it was such an epic adventure! The bus ride was smooth, the driver was really friendly, and the view coming into the park was jaw-dropping. We had about 3 hours to explore the valley which was perfect. Just a heads up, bring a camera because the sights are insane!
