Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Yosemite High Country Adaptive Tour? Is it cold up there?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Even in the summer, it can get chilly at 10,000 feet, especially in the morning and evening. I'd recommend a light jacket and comfortable shoes, as there are some unpaved trails. Don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen too since you'll be at a high elevation.

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? I'm considering it for my grandparents.

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's ideal for those who can handle some light walking on unpaved paths. It's super accommodating for seniors, especially with the adaptive focus. Just make sure they’re comfortable in a vehicle for a few hours as well!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: If the weather is bad, you can typically reschedule your tour with the provider. It’s best to contact them directly as soon as you know there might be an issue. They’re usually pretty flexible since your safety is their priority!

Thinking of gifting the Yosemite High Country Adaptive Tour – Need advice!

Hi everyone! I’m considering this for my parents who love nature but aren’t super active. I love that it includes the Tioga Road and stops at places like Tenaya Lake. Has anyone done this? How was the driving? Are the views as amazing as they say? Any tips would be super helpful!

Just booked the Yosemite High Country Adaptive Tour!

Super excited! I booked this tour for my best friend’s birthday. She’s been wanting to see Yosemite and this seems perfect since she uses a walker. I love that it’s a private adventure too. Can’t wait to hear about the views from the peak!
