Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to hike comfortably for a day. The guides are experienced with families, so they can accommodate kids as young as 6, but keep in mind the trails may be challenging for younger ones. Just make sure they’re up for a little adventure!
A: If the weather is unsafe, they’ll usually offer a reschedule or refund. Just be sure to check the forecast a few days prior and reach out to them to confirm your options. Most tours go ahead in light rain, but they’ll make the call based on conditions.
A: The hikes vary, but they’re designed to be accessible for most fitness levels. You'll do some walking, but it’s not overly strenuous. If you’re concerned, let the guide know and they can adjust the pace for you. Just wear comfy shoes and you’ll be good!

Just did the Yosemite Valley Small Group Tour & Hike—what a day!
I went on this tour last weekend and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable about everything - plant life, history - you name it. We hiked to Bridalveil Falls and even got to see some wildlife. The group was small, just 6 of us, which made it feel really special. Plus, snacks were provided! Definitely thinking about gifting this to my parents for their anniversary.
Considering the Yosemite Valley Tour for a gift—any tips?
I’m thinking about getting this as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves nature but hasn’t hiked much. How intense is the hike, and is there a good mix of walking and sitting? Would we be able to enjoy the views?
