We are 100% Alaskan owned & operated - Our focus is on giving you an amazing experience in Skagway on your trip to The Yukon and British Columbia. Unlike the other attractions in Skagway, we stop along the way and explain what you are looking at and its history to Skagway, Alaska, and the Yukon. Along the way, we'll see plenty of valleys, rivers, waterfalls, and Alaskan wildlife. The tour will continue up the Klondike Highway to a remote sled dog camp in the Canadian tundra, where you'll get to play with sled dog puppies & meet their trainers & handlers. You won't be rushed or limited to play time here! Our "Yukon Husky Puppy Playtime" and "Summer Sled Dog Remote Yukon Camp" tours offer nearly identical experiences, with the only difference being that the Summer Sled Dog tour includes an exciting ride on a summer sled dog cart pulled by our huskies, while the Yukon Husky Puppy Playtime tour does not feature the cart ride.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this experience? I'm thinking of gifting it to my 10-year-old niece.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s super family-friendly! Kids love playing with the puppies, and they can definitely join the tour. Just make sure they’re comfortable in a vehicle for the scenic ride to the tundra.

Q: What should we wear for the puppy playtime? Will it be cold?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Even in summer, the tundra can be chilly, especially when you're up in the mountains. A light jacket and sturdy shoes are perfect. You’ll want clothes that can get a bit dirty too—those puppies love to play!

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up? What's their policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to give them at least 48 hours' notice. They’re pretty flexible, so you should be fine if plans change unexpectedly. Just call or email their customer service.

Just got back from the Yukon Husky Puppy Play Time, and it was AMAZING!

I took the Yukon Husky Puppy Play Time tour last week, and wow, I can’t recommend it enough! The drive up the Klondike Highway was beautiful, and our guide was super informative about the history of the area. But the highlight was definitely playing with the husky puppies. They’re absolutely adorable and so friendly! We had plenty of time to hang out with them, which was great. I think this would make an awesome gift for anyone who loves dogs or the outdoors.

Considering gifting the Yukon Husky Puppy Play Time experience!

I'm thinking about getting this for my mom’s birthday. She loves dogs and Alaska! But I’m worried about the transportation. Is it easy to get to from the cruise docks? Any tips on logistics?
