Q&A
A: Absolutely! The Yuletide Splendor tour is perfect for families. Kids can enjoy the festive decorations and the stories behind the places you visit. I took my 8-year-old and she loved the lights at Marion Square and the history at Mother Emanuel AME. Just keep in mind, it’s a walking tour, so you might want to have a stroller for little ones.
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! Just reach out to Opatrip and they’ll help you find another time. They want you to enjoy the tour without worrying about rain or snow! Just check their policy when booking for the details.
A: You'll want to wear comfy shoes because there's definitely a good amount of walking involved! Dress in layers since it might be chilly in the morning but warmer later in the day. I wore a festive sweater and was fine but had to take off my jacket halfway through. Enjoy the sights!

Thinking of booking the Yuletide Splendor tour for my parents!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting my parents this Christmas walking tour in Charleston. I love how it starts at Marion Square, especially with all the lights and decorations. Has anyone done it? I feel like they’d love the festive vibes and the history. Just curious how long the tour is and any personal highlights?
Just did the Yuletide Splendor tour and it was amazing!
I went on this walking tour last weekend and wow! The lights at Marion Square were spectacular, and the stories shared at the churches were so moving. Ended up buying a cute ornament at Charleston Christmas Collectibles too! Highly recommend if you’re in Charleston this season.
