Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? I'm thinking of getting this for my kids who are 8 and 10.

A: Great question! There aren't strict age limits for this tour, but the hiking can be a bit challenging depending on the weather and terrain. I'd say kids 8 and up should be fine, especially if they're used to some outdoor activities. Just make sure they have good hiking shoes and plenty of water!

Q: How difficult is the hike? I’m not super experienced.

A: The hike is considered moderate, so you don’t need to be a pro, but a decent level of fitness helps. There are some steeper areas and uneven terrain, but our guide is really good at pacing the group and helping out. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes and take breaks as needed!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it pretty casual?

A: Definitely casual! Wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy shoes. Layers are a good idea since the weather can change quickly. And don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially in the summer! You’ll be exposed to the sun quite a bit while exploring the petroglyphs and mesas.

Thinking of booking the Petroglyphs tour in Zion!

I’m really considering getting this tour for my partner’s birthday. We love hiking and the history sounds awesome! Can anyone share their experiences? What was the best part of the tour? I’m curious about the dino tracks and petroglyphs. Also, how long did it last?

Excited for our upcoming hike at Zion!

Just booked the Petroglyphs and Dino tracks tour for next weekend! I can’t wait to see the Babylon Arch and learn about all the history. Has anyone taken their dogs? Sounds like it’s dog friendly, but I wanna know if it’s really doable with a pup.
