Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the zipline tour?

A: Yes, there are age restrictions for the zipline tour. Participants typically need to be at least 10 years old and weigh between 70 and 250 lbs to ensure safety on the ziplines. Kids under 18 also need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. If you have younger kids, maybe check out other family-friendly activities in Big Bear instead!

Q: What should we wear for the ziplining experience?

A: I recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Closed-toe shoes are a must—sneakers work great! It's also a good idea to leave jewelry at home, and maybe bring a light jacket if it’s a chilly day up in the mountains. You'll be zipping through the trees, so you want to be able to move freely!

Q: What if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, safety comes first! If the weather is unsafe for ziplining, they’ll typically allow you to reschedule your tour without any extra fees. Make sure to call them ahead if you’re concerned about the weather on your scheduled day. They’re pretty flexible, but it’s good to check their policies just in case!

Thinking of gifting a zipline tour in Big Bear — any tips?

So I’m thinking about getting a zipline tour for my friend's birthday! The Action Zipline Tours sound amazing, with 9 ziplines and that suspension bridge. It’s about $120 per person, right? I just want to know if it’s worth it for someone who’s never ziplined before. Any advice?

Just did the Big Bear zipline tour—what a blast!

I just got back from the zipline tour with Action Zipline Tours, and WOW! The views from the suspension bridge were amazing. It felt so exhilarating flying through the trees! I recommend it to anyone who loves adventure. Just be prepared for a short off-road ride to the site, but it’s totally worth it!
