Zodiac Raft Whale Watching Adventure

The experience of watching 40 foot (12 meter) whales from a 24 foot (7 meter) Zodiac raft is something you'll never forget! Following Hawaiian Marine Park laws of stopping at least 100 yards (90 meters) away from these magnificent animals, you get a close up look at the migrating humpback whales. It is not uncommon for them to be curious about the raft and come right under the boat!

Q: Is there an age limit for this whale watching adventure? I'm thinking of taking my 8-year-old.

A: Yes, children as young as 4 can join the Zodiac Raft Whale Watching Adventure! Just make sure they're wearing a life jacket and are comfortable on the water. It’s a thrill ride, so if your 8-year-old is adventurous, they’re gonna love it!

Q: What should we wear for the boat ride? Is it cold out there?

A: Dress in layers! It can get windy and a bit chilly out on the water, especially in the morning. I'd recommend wearing a light jacket and shoes that can get wet. Also, bring sunglasses and sunscreen—it's bright out there!

Q: If we have to reschedule, how does that work? Want to make sure we're flexible.

A: Captain Zodiac is pretty accommodating! Just give them a call or send an email at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. They understand that plans change, especially when it comes to travel.
