Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this whale watching adventure? I'm thinking of taking my 8-year-old.

A: Yes, children as young as 4 can join the Zodiac Raft Whale Watching Adventure! Just make sure they're wearing a life jacket and are comfortable on the water. It’s a thrill ride, so if your 8-year-old is adventurous, they’re gonna love it!

Q: What should we wear for the boat ride? Is it cold out there?

A: Dress in layers! It can get windy and a bit chilly out on the water, especially in the morning. I'd recommend wearing a light jacket and shoes that can get wet. Also, bring sunglasses and sunscreen—it's bright out there!

Q: If we have to reschedule, how does that work? Want to make sure we're flexible.

A: Captain Zodiac is pretty accommodating! Just give them a call or send an email at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. They understand that plans change, especially when it comes to travel.

Just Booked the Zodiac Raft Whale Watching Adventure!

I’m so excited! Just booked this experience for my partner’s birthday on the Big Island. It’s supposed to be an amazing way to see the humpback whales up close, and the snacks and drinks included are a nice touch. Has anyone done this recently? What should I expect?
